Volvo FH Engine failure - D13K Truck engine overhaul in Germany

The engine of a Volvo FH with a swap body suddenly stopped. We transported the lorry to our workshop in 97618 Niederlauer to take a closer look at it. After removing the D13K, we realised that the cylinder head had been damaged due to a cracked valve and needed to be replaced. We procured the new cylinder head, pistons and liners, fitted it, reassembled the engine and tested its performance. After it had passed its test run without any problems, we put it back into the Volvo with our crane. The truck was finally handed over to its owner ready for use.
